Services of the Foster Law Office
The Foster Law Offices provide a full range of services. While Davis Foster practices primarily in the areas of personal injury and trial law, the practice is not limited to those areas and general legal needs of clients can be met either within the office or by referral to other lawyers in the community. The work included in the primary areas of practice is as follows:
Personal Injury Claims
- Davis primarily represents persons who have been injured and are making claims for compensation. The injury may be a result of an automobile collision, a work injury, a premises related condition (such as a slip-and-fall), medical negligence, or a defective product. The specific work done may involve making a claim on an insurance policy and assisting the individual or business in negotiating with an insurance company, or bringing a lawsuit in state or federal court.
Trial Law Matters
- Davis' practice involves representation of persons both as plaintiffs and defendants in various types of civil litigation, including insurance coverage issues, contract and business issues, collections, marriage dissolutions, disability claims, and employment disputes, as well as representing defendants in criminal cases.
Other Matters
- Davis primarily practices in the areas described above, but does not limit has practice to those areas. However, in the event that his schedule or the type of work involved does not allow him to represent a client in a particular matter, Davis maintains a good working relationship with other local attorneys allowing him to be of assistance in referring the client to counsel who will be able to serve that person or business' needs.

All potential clients are urged to make their own independent investigation and evaluation of any lawyer being considered. This notice is required by rule of the Supreme Court of Iowa.
